California Fade is mixed and mastered. Artwork is in the process of being worked on. I'm working with two amazing artists, Mary Wigmore and Rob Reynolds. Not sure when the release date is just yet, but look out for some summer shows. My band is going to be Steve McDonald, Josh Klinghoffer, and Ryan MacMillan. They are all very busy playing in various other bands and recording records, etc. but we've talked about doing some summer shows to be followed up with some touring when the record comes out. Will keep you posted.

I'm releasing a single on iTunes called DOUBLE A SIDE. It has "How Am I Doing?" and "Beautiful Life". You can also buy it on MySpace. "How Am I Doing?" is going to be on Grey's Anatomy April 25th (I think). It is mine and Roddy's favorite show so that's a big thrill.

LOVELACE:
Charlotte Caffey (The Go-Gos) and I have turned it into a rock opera. It has taken a turn for the serious and it's coming out amazing. We're looking at a February 2008 opening in Los Angeles at the Hayworth Theater in MacArthur Park.

SCORING:
Roddy Bottom (Imperial Teen / Faith No More) and I finished scoring and music supervising for a great tv show called HELP ME HELP YOU that was on ABC last spring. Will keep you posted for more shows that we will be working on.

DEALBREAKER, a hilarious short film co-directed and co-written by Mary Wigmore and Gwyneth Paltrow for GLAMOUR'S Reel Moments (Series 1), can be seen on iTunes for free. I did the score and "Beautiful Life" (which is on my California Fade) is the end title song. The movie was in Sundance Film Festival and was made to benefit FilmAid.

PRODUCING:
Steve McDonald and I just finished producing the new Imperial Teen record, which is excellent and was a ton of fun. The album is called The Hair The TV The Baby And The Band and is coming out on Merge Records in the Fall of 2007 (I think).

I also produced a couple of songs for a new movie that is coming out next year called SPRING BREAKDOWN. It is written and directed by Ryan Shiraki and it stars Parker Posey, Amy Pohler, and Rachel Dratch. We did a cover of Wilson Phillips' "Hold On" and Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors". The ladies and I sang on the tracks. Look out for it. It's gonna be a good one.
